Beef Skirt Steak

Skirt Steak is one of those cuts that is prized for its flavour, not tenderness, but prepared right it is delicious! It's grainy texture takes a marinade very well and if very popular with Tex-Mex flavoured dishes like fajitas. To prepare a skirt steak, first peel off any membrane that is left on and marinate or apply a rub, if desired. When it's ready to cook, just sear in a SUPER-HOT pan for 2-3 minutes on each side. If their is room, use another spot in the pan for the second side. Then let it rest on a cutting board for 8-10 minutes and slice as thin as possible, against the grain and at about a 45 degree angle. Enjoy!!

Only the best, all natural, holistic, health concious meats out there!! Finally got around to ordering from Janeen and Sam and we were not disappointed... Fabulous sausages, hot dogs and pepperoni sticks! Some of our favourites, but guilt free now because of wholesome ingredients without any fillers!!! All of the meat I've had from them has been the best I've ever tasted!!! Can't get better than Grass-fed goodness!!! Knowing where your meat comes from is a big deal, and CSR's practices for raising their animals is the best of the best!!! The fact that they deliver in town makes it even better! And price wise is more than fair for the quality and quantity you're getting! Thanks again guys!!! Will be ordering again and again.
